Cristo Rey Philadelphia High School, a college preparatory, Catholic school for students of all faiths, nurtures and challenges young people to recognize and realize their full potential as they learn to love others, grow in their faiths, and serve the common good.

Every Cristo Rey Philadelphia student works one day per week at a leading Philadelphia area business through the innovative Work-Study Program. The wages they earn at their job fund a substantial portion of the cost of their education, and students learn and practice critical social and workplace readiness skills. Today, there are 38 Cristo Rey Network high schools operating successfully across the US. Cristo Rey schools currently serve more than 12,000 students and have 23,100 alumni nationwide. Students who graduate from Cristo Rey schools go on to earn Bachelor's degrrees within 6 years at rates over 2x higher than their demographic peers.
